Massive Effect

Thu Nov 19, 2009, 2:21 PM
So, I just finished playing through Mass Effect not once, but twice in a row. That's right. I just said that. I must be insane.

I haven't even played through Super Mario RPG (my first and favorite RPG) twice. That is also right. I've only beaten Smithy once. And Culex once. And Jinx three times (I think that's how many times you can fight him, but can't remember). Anyways, I started up a third time, making a third character, but had to step back from it. I dunno, it's like it resonates really deeply with me. It's Star Wars without the suck. It's like "Empire Strikes Back" had a baby with........... "Fifth Element", or something... I've never actually seen "Fifth Element", so I could be wrong, but regardless...

It's awesome. Story-wise, I always take a long time to get on-board, and this game was no exception, but I think the whole thing is a great idea. I've heard "Dragon Age: Origins" is awesome, but if they implement all the great ideas they added to their formula in that game in "Mass Effect 2" I'll be a happy cat. Figuratively; I hate anthro or "fursonas". *shudder*

Actually, I just ruined that paragraph for myself by mentioning furs and Mass Effect in the same paragraph. DAMN IT

I've been looking at my desktop's wallpaper for a while now and keep thinking about doing an adaptation of it to suit my needs. I'll post it if it works out. I'll also link the referencial picture, because that's fair (but I hate to do it). I really hate stating my references! It makes me feel like admitting some sort of... theft, or something. I don't like it. But I do like critiques! So critique away!
