She's also a bitch. Rude, opinionated, dangerous, angry, but what's worse is she's good at getting what she wants and being "pretend nice" to facilitate the getting of her way. She's smart, good looking, slightly charismatic, and lethal with her dual Kukri. She has a pet rook (on her shoulder) named "Kee". She's a habitual smoker, but only smokes when not "rogueing" because that'd be dumb.
She's what could be called a "remorseful assassin". She kills people because she is told to and because she is good at it, and even because she enjoys the hunt, but carries around her sins with her in the form of self-inflicted scars for each victim that she feels is not deserving of their fate, which is often the case with her victims, usually being political or revenge killings. Regardless of innocence, she lights a candle for each of her victims when she meditates, both before and after the hunt, placing a red candle for the newest target before going out, then moving them into the menagerie as a white candle upon returning and renewing the ritual. There are quite a few scars and even more candles.
I wanted her clothes to be fairly ordinary, so she could walk down the street and not stand out like a sore thumb, but still have places she could sleight-of-hand stuff to, like her cool pocketed scarf (it has space for her to slip stuff into). The rest of her costume is fairly modest, with the split back on the tunic, like Liara wears in the Shadow Broker DLC for Mass Effect 2, and a full cape/cloak that covers her gear that's strapped to her back, and keeps her other gear out of sight. She also has my interpretation of elf ears, like the ones Lucien had. Stick-out kind.
I used a few references, especially on Kee. A Mignola one, actually. Illustrator, Intuos 3, coffee, late nights.
